Blobfights was a Flash/Actionscript experiment in programming objects to act and react autonomously to both their environment and each other. There can be as many as four blobs active at any time. Each blob has it's own set of unique attributes such as speed, agility, field of vision, etc.
Blobs live their life wandering around and searching for food, but can become visibly aggressive when pursuing a weaker blob. When a blob fight begins it is usually a fight to the death, but there is always a chance of evasion.
Despite being written almost 10 years ago, it remains one of my favorite personal coding efforts.
