Birdwatcher was a personal project of mine. Built with Adobe Flex and Actionscript 3 technology this cross platform application allows users and companies to monitor twitter messages via custom search terms.

Each search term carries a sentiment value that contributes to the overall term 'sentiment' of positive, negative or neutral. The terms sentiment, count and status are all displayed in a widget like window that is easy to use.

The application runs silently in the background while sitting in the start menu or Mac OS dock and displays configurable alerts to the user anytime a term's sentiment changes.
